Gold Dirtbag: Gold Panning Paydirt

Mother Yuba's Bounty

Mother Yuba's Bounty paydirt has been prepared for a easy/beginner level panner. I take raw unsearched pay (bank gravels) and classify down to 1/4 inch which makes it easier to separate out the heavies. I then add the guaranteed gold to the bag and it is common to get more gold than the amount specified on your purchase. The Gold bags weigh from 2# to 2.5# depending on amount gravel. I highly recommend using a safety tub to catch all your pannings so you can re-pan them over and over until you are satisfied that you have recovered all the gold. Also to be noted that this gold has not been cleaned so you may find a piece that is red or black in color, this is just a natural coating on the gold from the highly mineralized area it has been sitting in for eons. It is a good idea to add a drop of dish soap to your water to break the surface tension **but just one drop or you will have a sudsy mess **. Slowly pan your paydirt a little at a time and suck out the flecks of gold as you find them.

Thanks again and I hope you enjoy your paydirt panning experience.

Meadview Madness

Meadview Madness paydirt has been prepared for the intermediate or experienced level panner. I take raw unsearched pay (bank gravels) and classify it down to 1/4 inch, then I take this material and run through a dry washer to further concentrate it. Next I add the guaranteed gold to the bag and it is common to get more gold than the amount specified on your purchase. The Gold bags weigh from 1# to 1.5# depending on amount sand. There are loads of black sand heavies in this paydirt to keep you busy for awhile. Magnet separation is a must but there will also be a lot on non-magnetized heavies as well as some garnets in the mix. It is recommended to classify these materials down and pan them separately as this will make it easier to recover the gold. I highly recommend using a safety tub to catch all your pannings so you can re-pan them over and over until you are satisfied that you have recovered all the gold. It is a good idea to add a drop of dish soap to your water to break the surface tension **but just one drop or you will have a sudsy mess **. Slowly pan your paydirt a little at a time and suck out the flecks of gold as you find them. If you are looking to test your panning skills or you are after the elusive King Tut nugget..... look no farther!

Thanks again and I hope you enjoy your paydirt panning experience.
